This hill station is one of the major weekend destinations in Kerala. Vagamon, also spelled Wagamon, is a hill station located on the border of two districts in Kerala. Meenachil taluk and Kanjirappally taluk of Kottayam district and Peerumade taluk of Idukki district are sharing the location of Wagamon. The place is situated 1100 meters above sea level. As the winter completely sets in, mesmerizing views of the forest-clad mountains with fog flowing through simply take the breath away of spectators. The temperature might fall to zero degrees Celsius. Winter is considered the peak season in Vagamon city and one of the best times to go paragliding.
